Santa Maria Navarrese
Santa Maria Navarrese belongs to the municipality of Baunei, is located on the coast overlooking the Gulf of Arbatax.
Characteristics of the small town are the church from the twelfth century and the Spanish tower from the seventeenth century.
The district of Baunei is well known for the many kilometers of coastline that extend into the Gulf of Orosei, has numerous beaches considered to be among the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, such as Cala Goloritzè, Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriala and Cala Sisine.
Blue, turquoise and emerald shades of the sea of these beaches are interrupted by the Mediterranean scrub typical of the area.
